writing this as cautionary tale. wtarted crypto gambling 8 months ago with 0.3 btc ($18k at time). initially just for fun, small bets. won big few times early which was worst thing possible. gradually bet size increased as I chased losses. long story short - lost everything plus maxed credit cards buying more crypto to "win it back." about $72k total gone
if you're dabbling in crypto gambling, be extremely careful. the combination of 24/7 access, instant deposits, and no human oversight made it way too easy to spiral
not looking for sympathy, just want others to learn from my mistakes. set hard limits, use reality checks, and walk away if you're chasing losses

Friend of mine went through similar last year. Crypto gambling sites designed to be addictive - instant dopamine, flashy graphics, fake money feeling. Took losing everything to finally stop

all these sites need "cooling off" enforced periods and deposit limits like regulated casinos have. too easy to keep redepositing with crypto

exactly. no friction to deposits was killer. 3am desperate deposits i'd never have made if had to wait for bank transfer or go to ATM
your avas folks 😂 but seriously sorry for your situation @Persimmon-Salt hold on man
thanks bro, avas made me wonder too ;)

i think biggest were:
- Checking results/playing first thing after waking
- Lying to family about losses
- Constantly calculating how much needed to "break even"
- Betting larger and larger amounts
- Playing games I didn't even enjoy just for action

Once these started, spiral happened fast
