What's the best crypto wallet?

I use blockchain, but I don’t like it. There are too many bugs! Once, I couldn’t even see my full balance, and it took me up to 5 days with support chats to get my money back. They also don’t offer enough swap functions and have too few coins to choose from. The saddest part is that when I check my balance on the independent blockchain service, I don’t actually see my full balance. I assume this means the rest of the money doesn’t belong to me but to the site and their internal wallet.

Mate, never use custodial wallets like blockchain.com - you're basically trusting them with your keys. No wonder you can't see your full balance on-chain. Try Metamask or Trust Wallet if you want actual control of your crypto. Been in the game since 2017 and learned this lesson the hard way lol

can someone explain what's a custodial wallet?? 🤔 new to crypto and trying to figure out where to store my first btc purchase
@IamNew a custodial wallet is when the exchange/platform holds your private keys. Like having your money in a bank vs. your own safe. Non-custodial = you control the keys = your crypto. Simple rule: "Not your keys, not your coins"
Quick recommendations:
Hardware: Ledger/Trezor
Mobile: Trust Wallet/Exodus
Desktop: Metamask/Phantom (for SOL)

For swaps, just connect your wallet to 1inch or similar DEX aggregator. way better rates than any built-in swap function

guys help!!! just got my ledger but cant figure out how to stake eth on it... videos on yt all show different things
@Timmy98 You don't stake "on" the Ledger - you stake through a platform while your keys stay secure on the Ledger. Check out Lido or Rocketpool. Here's what you need to do:
1. Connect Ledger to Metamask
2. Go to Lido/Rocketpool
3. Connect wallet
4. Follow staking process

Just MAKE SURE you're on the right website. Lots of fake staking sites out there
